The Enfants Riches Déprimés Rat Belt is vermin dressed in silver. Cut from deep oxblood leather and finished with ornate rose-engraved hardware, it takes a name nobody wants and wears it proudly — a wine-dark strap for the survivors, the scavengers, the ones who outlast the building.
The details are rich and severe: a burgundy leather strap that reads black in shadow and blood in the light, an antiqued silver buckle and keeper engraved with roses and vines, a small iron-cross detail, and sculpted metal accents down the strap. The leather is smooth and lived-in; the hardware is tarnished on purpose, cold ornament against a colour that looks like it’s already bled.
