ERD Let LA Burn Shirt

The ERD Let LA Burn Shirt draws the city like a kid’s cartoon of the apocalypse and hands it to you as fact. White cotton, cut in ERD’s boxy oversized fit, the chest carries a framed, hand-drawn illustration — “ERD” scrawled large in bold red marker across the top of a crude cityscape, storefronts and a police vehicle and scattered stick figures rendered in the loose, deliberately unpolished style of a notebook doodle, chaos sketched in with the same casual hand a kid uses to draw a house on fire.

Beneath the scene, “LET LA BURN” runs in the same red marker scrawl, blunt and unbothered, closing the illustration on a note that reads more like a dare than a statement. It’s satire dressed as vandalism — a cartoon apocalypse small enough to fit inside a picture frame, treating disaster with the same flat, unaffected linework you’d use to draw a school bus.

Flip it and the back carries “ENFANTS RICHES DÉPRIMÉS” in dripping, blood-red gothic script, letters bleeding downward like the ink hasn’t dried yet, a quieter but no less unsettling counterpart to the chaos up front.

Made from 500gsm cotton in ERD’s oversized unisex fit, the shirt is produced in a strictly limited micro-batch, individually hand-finished so both the hand-drawn front illustration and the dripping back logo print with slight variation piece to piece. It comes in S, M, L, and XL. That much fine red detail doesn’t survive a careless wash, so check garment care before this one meets water or heat.

Enfants Riches Déprimés — French for “Depressed Rich Kids” — was founded in 2012 by conceptual artist Henri Alexander Levy, colliding 1970s French avant-garde tailoring with raw punk nihilism. The label frequently renders its bleakest ideas in a childlike hand, using naive illustration to make disaster look almost harmless — hyper-exclusive objects that provoke exactly by refusing to take themselves seriously.

Crafted across Los Angeles (USA), Italy, and Japan.

Drawn like a joke. Reads like a warning.
