Enfants Riches Déprimés T-Shirt Size Guide

Erd Egoiste Shirt

The ERD Egoiste Shirt says the quiet part out loud and then rips itself apart doing it. Black cotton, worn down to a moth-eaten state — small holes scattered across the chest, shoulders, and sleeves like the fabric gave up defending itself — with the word “EGOÏSTE” printed dead center in a tall, cream-colored serif, two small dots hovering above like the shirt is mid-sentence and doesn’t care to finish it.

The damage isn’t incidental — it’s structural to the design, holes clustered dense enough near the collar and hem that the garment looks like it’s actively dissolving, a hem slit left open at the back like the last stitch finally gave out. The word itself sits clean and undamaged in the center, untouched by the wreckage around it, which is its own kind of statement: the ego survives everything else falling apart. Sleeves are cuffed and rolled slightly, distressed at the same rate as the body, so there’s no part of this shirt that gets to look intact.

Made from 500gsm cotton in ERD’s oversized unisex fit, every hole and tear is placed and finished by hand as part of a strictly limited micro-batch — no two shirts decompose in exactly the same places. It comes in S, M, L, and XL. A shirt built to look destroyed can still be actually destroyed if you wash it carelessly, so check garment care first.

Enfants Riches Déprimés — French for “Depressed Rich Kids” — was founded in 2012 by conceptual artist Henri Alexander Levy, colliding 1970s French avant-garde tailoring with raw punk nihilism to produce hyper-exclusive, deliberately damaged objects. The label treats distressing as a language of its own — not decoration, but a statement about impermanence, indulgence, and the cost of both. Every piece is a refusal of disposable fashion dressed up as its opposite.

Crafted across Los Angeles (USA), Italy, and Japan.

Selfish, torn, and completely unbothered about it.
