Erd Distressed Shirt

The ERD Distressed Shirt has already lived a life before you buy it. Faded to a bruised charcoal grey, torn deliberately at the shoulder and hem like it survived something, it wears its damage as the actual design — nothing decorative about it, just the aftermath.

Front and center, “ENFANTS RICHES DÉPRIMÉS” sits in stark white serif, blunt and declarative, above a smaller line reading “SOHO NEW YORK” and a scrawled, sardonic “Go Fuck Yourself” in matching cursive beneath it — the brand’s mission statement disguised as a parting shot. Flip it over and the same phrase takes over the entire back in acid neon green, diagonal, oversized, impossible to ignore. It’s not subtle. It was never supposed to be.

Made from 500gsm cotton in ERD’s oversized unisex fit, the shirt is intentionally distressed and faded during construction — not aged through wear, but built that way from the start, each tear placed by hand in a strictly limited micro-batch. It comes in S, M, L, and XL. Before it goes anywhere near a wash, read the garment care — a shirt built to look ruined is still easy to actually ruin if you’re careless with it.

Enfants Riches Déprimés — French for “Depressed Rich Kids” — was founded in 2012 by conceptual artist Henri Alexander Levy, merging 1970s French avant-garde tailoring with the confrontational energy of punk. The label exists to make objects that alienate as much as they attract: hyper-exclusive, deliberately difficult, built for people who’d rather be told to fuck off than told they look nice. Every piece resists disposability by design, meant to last long after the trend it started has been forgotten.

Crafted across Los Angeles (USA), Italy, and Japan.

It already told you what it thinks. Wear it anyway.

How do I wash it without damaging the print?
Hand wash cold inside out or spot clean, air dry in shade, and never iron directly over the graphic. Full details are on the garment care page.
