How to measure. Lay a jacket you own flat and buttoned. Chest is measured across the front seam to seam, then doubled. Length runs from the highest shoulder point to the hem. Allow a ½–1 inch tolerance. Fit. ERD jackets are cut oversized. If you sit between two sizes or plan to layer lightly, size down.
Erd Constructivist Hunting Jacket
The ERD Constructivist Hunting Jacket is agitprop you can button up — black washed cotton built like workwear and marked with the red-and-black language of revolutions that ate their own.
The body is a faded, dusty black, worn soft and uneven, contrasted by a brown corduroy collar that gives it the salvaged look of a field jacket pulled from a forgotten locker. Practical, heavy, unbothered by fashion.
On the right chest sits an embroidered “Enfants Riches Déprimés” script in pale thread, while a red-and-black graphic patch anchors the lower center front like a torn political poster pasted to the fabric. The left sleeve carries deliberate abrasion and cracking, the wear worked in by hand.
Constructed with a zip front, a corduroy-topped collar, flap and slash pockets, and a ribbed hem that pulls the cut into a boxy, blousy shape, it closes into a self-contained shell. A branded interior label sits at the neck.
Built from heavy cotton and individually hand-finished, this is heirloom-grade outerwear made to be worn to ruin. Consult our garment care guide for washing and fit. Available in S, M, L, and XL in ERD’s oversized unisex cut.
Enfants Riches Déprimés — French for “Depressed Rich Kids” — was founded in 2012 by conceptual artist Henri Alexander Levy. The label collides 1970s French avant-garde tailoring with raw punk nihilism, producing hyper-exclusive, isolating objects in strictly limited micro-batches: a refusal of disposable fashion, built to last a lifetime.
Crafted across Los Angeles (USA), Italy, and Japan.
The slogans fade first. The jacket just keeps going.
