Enfants Riches Déprimés Bebe Brooch
The ERD Bebe brooch puts a cherub to work holding up a plaque it never agreed to carry.
A small silver figure leans over the top edge of the piece, arms braced against a horizontal bar stamped “E.R.D.” in bold block letters, dots separating each initial like a code more than a name. Two carved roses flank the plaque on either side, soft detailing against the otherwise stiff, formal shape of the bar. The whole thing reads like a medal pulled from a uniform that never existed — ornamental, official-looking, and completely made up.
Sterling silver construction, cast figure and plaque detailing, pin-back fastening. Hand-finished in a small run, each piece cast individually. Care instructions live under garment care. One size.
Henri Alexander Levy started Enfants Riches Déprimés in 2012. The name means “Depressed Rich Kids.” Same fight the label’s always run on — old French tailoring against punk that never learned to sit still.
